The President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu joins the new social media platform created by the Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg named Threads.
On Wednesday, the unveiling of Threads, a new application to rival the famous micro-blogging platform, Twitter took place.
‘Twitter Killer’ as called by many techies serve as a companion to Instagram, the well-known photo-sharing network acquired by Mr. Zuckerberg’s company, Meta, over ten years ago.
The president of Nigeria, however, joins millions of users who have signed up on the app under 48 hours of its launch.
Tinubu in his first post on the platform jokingly referred to himself as a ‘Tailor’ coined from the platform’s name, ‘Threads.’
“My fellow Tailors, Idan has landed,” he wrote.
