Tinubu appointees uninterested in Nigeria’s progress

Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima, has demanded that political appointees of President Bola Tinubu adopt a different perspective.

He said the appointees are only concerned in expanding their personal fortunes and have no interest in the development of the country.

Some of his appointees are more interested in their pockets than service delivery.

“Nobody is interested in developing Nigeria, only developing his pocket. You show example as a leader,” Galadima said.

He cited an example of how India developed, saying the South-Asian country channelled funds into medicine and information technology.

It was remittances from Indians all over the world that they managed very well in India and developed IT, medical sciences and today, of the conglomerates in the world, 75 per cent of their heads are Indians.

“He should be told that some of his appointees are more interested in their pockets than service delivery,” Galadima added.

During the show, he expressed disappointment at the performance of Tinubu’s administration over the past one year

Galadima said that while he expected much from Tinubu upon his assumption of office, the Nigerian president has not done better.
