Three kidnapped UNICAL students regain freedom

The three kidnapped students of the University of Calabar, UNICAL regain freedom after almost two weeks in custody of gunmen.

Damilola Dickson, Ugwu Chukwuemeka, and one other student of the school were kidnapped some weeks ago with a ransom of N14M demanded.

A report from their colleague on the microblogging platform, X has confirmed their release to their parents. While the circumstances of their release remain unknown, @Anarii6 affirmed the freedom of her UNICAL colleagues.

“My coursemate and the others were released today! Thank you Jesus!!” she captioned the post.

It is worth noting that the social media user broke the news of their kidnap on the 30th of March, garnering concerns and attention from necessary authorities.
