The African Cup of Nations has begun in the Central part of Africa, Cameroon to be precise with some teams already displaying their wares as it may be in the biennial showpiece.
While a couple of other sides are struggling to find their feet in the tournament especially for the West African side Ghana who have been knocked out.
But with Cameroon in a buoyant mood ahead of their next match, we find out why they are a real (strong) favourite to win the AFCON trophy this year.

The Cameroon side would have the benefit of playing at home in this tournament.
Though this could permeate a level of expectation more with the pressure coming from the home fans.
But the players are mentally ready to perform in front of their home fans as a huge advantage going forward IN the competition.

The former FC Porto star would be huge personnel to drive Cameroon’s ambition in this year’s fiesta.
While Liverpool’s Joel Matip would be missing in Cameroon’s AFCON roster, Aboubakar can bring the class his side need to thrive in this stance.
And with four goals already on his name, expect him to drive Cameroon to the AFCON gold later next month.
Style Of Play
The Cameroonians have improved unlike in recent times where they struggled to qualify for the competition alongside heavyweight and rival Nigeria.
But at the moment there is improvement in the way they play.
While many viewers can attest to the positioning and defining approach they’ve made in their matches in this tournament (AFCON 2021).
