- In a move dripping with suspense, the crossdresser made it crystal clear that, for reasons only he knows, there’s no chance he’s stepping foot in the same office that once detained him.
- This bold refusal has sent shockwaves, leaving everyone wondering what’s fueling his defiance.
Controversial and embattled Nigerian transgender celebrity, Idris Okuneye, famously known as Bobrisky, has fired back in response to the blazing heat surrounding her invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Recall, in a viral video circulating online, shared by social media activist Martins Otse, a.k.a. VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky allegedly made explosive claims, alleging that some unnamed EFCC officers collected a staggering N15,000,000 from him to drop money laundering charges.
This damning accusation sent shockwaves through the public, forcing EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede to take immediate action, launching an internal probe into the bribery allegations.
Both Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan were promptly summoned to the EFCC’s Lagos Directorate to assist in the investigation.
Taking to his Instagram page on Thursday, September 26, Bobrisky didn’t hold back. In a fiery response, she dismissed VeryDarkMan’s accusations and the viral audio clip he shared, firmly stated that he is not the person behind the incriminating recording.
Bobrisky made it clear that she wouldn’t cave to his accusations or be intimidated by the swirling controversy.
Directing her ire at the EFCC, Bobrisky remained defiant, stating that while she is ready to cooperate with their investigation, there’s one non-negotiable condition—she will not be investigated in the same office where she was previously detained on six charges related to naira abuse and laundering a whopping N127,780,877.98,
Bobrisky wrote;
“Please everyone calling to tell me the danger I am in and the plans against me should hold it now and fu*k it. I don’t want any threat no more. I was scared because of the story that EFCC will detain me again and i will be sentenced to prison second time.
“God will vindicate me and for those that want to frame me up they will be exposed by the Law. l am ready for any investigation but not in the same EFCC office where I was detained and any investigation should be free, no intimidation and idemand,for an independent and open investigation for the world to see.
“You cannot bury me because of my social media lifestyle. Anybody can alter any audio, add or frame any audio and put it out, best of luck, anyone who published any audio should take responsibility for the audio, the fact remains that I am not the maker of that audio and didn’t publish any audio, and nothing can change that.
“I will meet you guys in any court this time around, if you have any case against me”
