When you start a 162-game season, you look for consistency from your players.

The best players can provide that consistency.

They step out onto the field night after night and give it their all to try and help the team win.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are lucky enough to have two players who always are available to do that.

Freddie Freeman and Trea Turner both have played in all 110 games for the Dodgers this season.

They have been available above all else and have provided that consistency that the Dodgers have been looking for.

They’ve been out there day in and day out to try and help the Dodgers win another ring.

Consistency From Superstars

This is what you want from your superstars.

You want them available night after night.

Aside from production, availability is the most important thing.

When you have players that you can count on to show up each day ready to win, then winning becomes a lot easier.

You’re bound to have a ballclub that wins a lot of games.

Turner and Freeman have showed up each day and have produced the results the Dodgers have been looking for as they own the best record in all of baseball at 77-33, leading the NL West by 16 games over the San Diego Padres.

The Dodgers are a juggernaut thanks in large part to the contributions of Freeman and Turner, who have played in every single game for them this season.

Again, that’s what you want out of your star players and it’s a manager’s dream to have players who can do a little bit of everything.

Dave Roberts has to be pleased with what he’s seeing out of Freeman and Turner this season.
