The Milwaukee Bucks are hoping for great things in the seasons ahead and there is a chance they create that amazing future while respecting the past.
Right now there are many teams throughout the league creating throwback alternate jerseys as a way to excite fans and pay homage to bygone eras.
The Bucks are just the latest to do that.

The team introduced their new “Classic Edition” jerseys that will feature the iconic purple and green worn during the 1990s and early 2000s.
These “Light It Up” jerseys will be part of the team’s rotation during the 2022-23 season.
It’s a great way to recognize the legacy of the franchise and the players who have come before, as well as get people excited for what will come next.

When the Bucks first looked like this, the team was filled with stars like Ray Allen, Sam Cassell, and Glenn Robinson, who constituted the team’s Big Three.
The team found great success back then and ended the 2000-01 season with a 52-30 record.
Although they didn’t make the NBA Finals that year, it is still looked at as a pivotal and important period in the team’s history.
Following that time, the team went through some rough patches.
But it didn’t last forever and the team rebounded in a huge way a few years after adding Giannis Antetokounmpo, who led the team to great success and an NBA Finals victory just two seasons ago.
Now Antetokounmpo and the rest of his squad will be rocking these throwback jerseys as they try to surpass the team that originally wore them so many years ago.
