Everyone knows for sure that Hollywood thrillers are must-watch. They can be compared to football or basketball listed on 22Bet tops, but there are also water polo and horse racing events, which attract many fans. In the movie industry, Indian thrillers are similar to polo or racing: they are less popular but still fascinating.

Don

Mafioso Don has the whole of India in fear. During a shootout with the police, the criminal is seriously wounded and ends up in a hospital bed. To find out the secrets of the cartel, one of the inspectors turns to an ordinary guy named Vijay. He resembles Don like two peas in a pod, so he can infiltrate the gang without any problems.

You won’t find those wacky action scenes in “Don” that we are used to seeing in Indian action movies. The laws of physics are almost not violated, and the characters do not rush to break into a furious dance every five minutes. But the movie will be appreciated by fans of crime thrillers like John Woo’s Face/Off. Like Nicolas Cage, actor Shah Rukh Khan plays two different roles and deftly transforms from a criminal cutthroat to a good citizen.

Krrish

A boy named Krishna Mehra has inherited superpowers from his father. He is incredibly smart, agile, possesses telekinesis and inhuman strength. One day the boy discovers that the cunning Dr. Siddhant is holding the protagonist’s father captive. To save his parent, Krishna becomes a masked avenger.

Rakesh Roshan’s movie combines the incompatible. The melodramatic story of an Indian boy growing up becomes a daring comic book movie in which the protagonist tumbles through the air like Neo from The Matrix. With his stylish latex costume, his charming smile and his ability to move to the beat of the music, Krishna is the superhero that every one of us deserves.

Baahubali

An infant is found in an Indian village. The child grows up to be strong and stubborn beyond his years. For several years, he unsuccessfully tries to reach the highest point of a plunging waterfall. The hero himself cannot explain why he is drawn to this place.

It’s in fact the realm of the Mahishmati, where power has been usurped by the evil king Bhallaladeva. Only the rightful heir to the throne, Bahubali, can fight back. But he disappeared a few years ago – that is, in fact, our main character.

The “Baahubali” dilogy is both a shocking fantasy action movie and a drama about palace passions. The film is striking in its scope of action scenes. The weapons of combat are chariots with giant spinning blades, and people are launched into the air instead of nukes.

At the same time, the picture surprises with a deep conflict within the royal family. The story has room for betrayal, love, and brotherly rivalry. It’s better to watch the two movies without a break: only in this way, can one be imbued with the pathos of the cruel and tragic Indian “Iliad”.

KGF

A lonely boy named Rocky seeks wealth and power in the city of Mumbai. He is taken under the wing of a smuggler named Shetty. Years later, the boy becomes more powerful than all his superiors and declares war on the criminal masterminds.

There is only one character at the center of the movie, and instead of a coherent plot, the viewer is treated to a set of action scenes. Rocky combing his hair with a broken arm of the enemy and single-handedly dealing with an army of enemies. The action is surprisingly bloody and fierce – something you could well see in the new John Wick. However, the shooting can make you sick: the shots replace each other too quickly, and the camera shakes feverishly.

The Man Who Feels No Pain

The protagonist Surya is born with an unusual condition: he feels no pain, even if a bone is broken or his forehead is smashed. Throughout his childhood, his parents overprotect him and forbid him to go outside. But the older Surya gets, the harder it is to keep him at home.

The movie is inspired by Hong Kong action movies. During the fights, Surya fools around like Jackie Chan characters and repeats Bruce Lee’s moves. However, the creators have added an original detail to the familiar formula. The hero doesn’t feel pain, which means that the entire timeline will be walking with broken legs and deep cuts. Author’s cynicism noticeably distinguishes the picture from other Indian action movies.

Singham

The incorruptible Inspector Singham patrols a village on the border of two Indian states. He settles disputes between locals and helps the underprivileged. One day the policeman crosses the road of a crime boss, and the latter responds by turning the hero’s life into a nightmare.

Singam is so tough that he gets out of his car on the move. He is so strong that his slaps send his opponent into somersaults. The cop also walks around wearing sunglasses-perhaps because otherwise everyone would be blinded by his beauty.

Even 11 years after its premiere, Rohit Shetty’s film is winning crowds of fans. Stupidity, farce and pathos meet in one place – and so great cinema is born.
