Nigerian singer Joeboy has left his record label Empawa Music owned by Mr Eazi

Joeboy expresses his heartfelt gratitude to Mr Eazi for taking a chance on him as he departs to launch his own record company.

The artist recently announced his desire to quit his old company, Empawa, and launch his own label, Young Legend.

His new label will work with Warner Group to provide a platform for the next generation of music performers.

Despite his widespread popularity, Joeboy is always thankful to his boss, Mr Eazi, for being a key part of his musical journey over the previous five years.

He resorted to Twitter to send a sincere message to his former employer.

He wrote:

“Thank you for taking a chance on me. Thank you for believing in me when others told you I wasn’t good enough.

You are a big part of my journey and I’m grateful for the last 5 years.

I wish you nothing but the best. 🤍”
