SZA, whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe has landed herself an acting role.
SZA may not have released a project in a while, but each time she does, it garners as much attention as another artist’s entire studio album would.
Her releases this year in the form of this month’s “I Hate U” and her impressive collaborative track “Kiss Me More” with Doja Cat both landed in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, at No. 7 and No. 3 respectively.
The American singer seems to be looking for other ways to get creative as it recently got announced on her page that she landed an acting role.
She made the announcement in the form of a cake her friends bought her to congratulate her which reads: Congrats record breaker and fire actress.

When addressing the story, SZA clarified she was gifted the cake and appreciates everyone congratulating her: Lmao thank y’all ! And before y’all start somebody BOUGHT me this cake. It’s a sweet gesture n I was being appreciative.
Nonetheless, it is not clear what movie, or show SZA will be making her debut acting appearance.
