Veteran Nollywood actress, Tonto Charity Dikeh reminisces experience with singer Solidstar, and has offered financial support for the mentally disturbed Afropop singer.
The 38-years-old actress recounted on how the “emergency” crooner had been willing to sacrifice everything to help her succeed in the music industry. She acknowledged his selflessness, highlighting how he never asked for payment, gifts, or even a hug.
She took to her Instagram handle to express her concern for his welfare, and has appealed to Solidstar’s management or family to get in touch with her so that she could offer financial assistance.
She wrote;
“How can I get through to Solid Star’s management or family? That’s my street blood, man. He was ready to sacrifice it all for me to do well musically. I just didn’t listen. Never asked for a penny, never accepted a gift, not even a hug. Such a selfless person. I’m hurting that he is still struggling despite having strong support. Please point me in the right direction. Thanks!”.
She also expressed gratitude to Solidstar and his team from the time she knew him. Stating, “First, I would like to say thank you to @officialsolidstar and his team back when I knew him. I am forever grateful.”
