Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson continues his ascent to become of the best players in the game.
He had a breakout 2021 season with 1,161 yards and eight touchdowns.
The former Toledo standout could make his presence felt even more by improving on his numbers.
For that to happen, quarterbacks Mitchell Trubisky, Kenny Pickett, and Mason Rudolph should actively look for him on every play.
However, he will be dealing with a minor roadblock after getting a lawsuit for allegedly failing to appear at a youth football camp.

NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo shared a photograph of Johnson’s statement regarding the matter.
The letter opens with, “The allegations that Diontae Johnson purposely failed to appear to his scheduled youth football camp are completely false, per Johnson’s agent Brad Cicala of QC Sports and Johnson’s attorney Adam Kenney.”
He added, “What FlexWorks conveniently leaves out of the story are countless breaches of the arrangement with Mr. Johnson, including the failure to facilitate his timely arrival.”
The statement also reads, “FlexWorks frivolous lawsuit is nothing more than a money grab with unfounded expenses and charges. This reality is supported by the company’s denial to accept Mr. Johnson’s proposal to offer a makeup camp.”
Minor Hiccup In Johnson’s Preparation
It’s a lawsuit that Johnson’s camp will easily address in court and won’t distract him much from his work.
This concern will be out of his mind in no time so that he can think of more important matters like helping the Steelers win.
They play in one of the NFL’s toughest divisions and his efforts will make a ton of difference to their cause.
As the season progresses, he will have the capacity to conduct another camp.
