Tunde Ayeni, a billionaire businessman, has filed legal action against Adaobi Alagwu, delivering a clear message that he is off bounds.
This new story began in December 2023, when Adaobi’s agent paid a controversial visit to her former office in Abuja, which had previously been handed to her by Ayeni but was later withdrawn. Adaobi’s activities, which she said were to collect her property, an air conditioner, provoked controversy and prompted Ayeni to file a petition for unlawful entrance and trespassing.
Ayeni further requested that the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) cancel any international passport submitted by Adaobi Alagwu and her child beaing his name.
Ayeni expressed his resolve to address the issue head on, stating, “I want this matter to be handled with every seriousness it deserves. I don’t want anything swept under the carpet. Speaking through his lawyers, Ayeni made a direct appeal to Adaobi, pleading for her to respect his privacy and stop from future meddling in his life.
“Please leave me alone, allow me to have my peace,” Ayeni said to Adaobi. “I am not interested in what you are doing. Please keep away from me.”
Ayeni’s wrath was obvious when he addressed Adaobi’s behaviour, saying, “With the circumstances under which you were booted out of that property, if you had any iota of shame, you shouldn’t have gone back there for any reason.”
By issuing a cease and desist order, Ayeni makes it clear that he will not allow any further intrusion into his private matters by Adaobi Jennifer Alagwu and her family.
