Son completes late Turnaround as Tottenham beat Crystal Palace 3-1

Tottenham Hotspur secured a dramatic 3-1 comeback victory against Crystal Palace, thanks to late goals from Timo Werner, Cristian Romero, and Son Heung-min.

Eberechi Eze had put Palace ahead with a stunning free-kick just before the hour mark, threatening to hand Spurs back-to-back home defeats.

However, Tottenham rallied late in the game to snatch all three points.

Substitute Brennan Johnson set up Werner for the equalizer in the 77th minute, with Werner scoring his first goal for the club.

Three minutes later, Romero headed in James Maddison’s cross to complete the turnaround.

Son then sealed the win with a goal to extend Spurs’ gap to Manchester United in the Champions League race.

The victory keeps the pressure on Aston Villa in the race for fourth place, while it was a first defeat for Palace under new manager Oliver Glasner.
