Vic O, Nigerian singer, has blasted the organizers of Headies awards for failing to acknowledge him even though he has been ”dropping hits back to back.”
In a video shared on his Instagram page this afternoon, Vic O said the organizers of the award ceremony failed to even nominate him in any of the categories.
The 2022 edition of the awards ceremony was held in the U.S. last weekend. It saw many contemporary Nigerian singers being celebrated for their works.
”I am so upset with the headies award. The Headies award did not even acknowledge me this time by nominating me or by giving me the award. Everything in Nigeria is politics. I have been dropping hits back to back”
Meanwhile, recall also that, Music producer, MasterKraft had earlier called out the organizers of the Nigerian music awards, The Headies for ignoring his contributions to the Nigerian music industry for years.
Recall that the 15th edition of Nigerian music awards The Headies took place last night in the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta On Sunday, September 4th. This marked the first time the show was been held outside of Nigeria.
Award winning artists, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido and others have won big at the event.
Wizkid and Tems were the top winners of the night as their international smash “Essence”
Calling out the organizers, MasterKraft who described himself as a legend, declared that he has been a blessing to Nigerian music industry for years and while The_Headies have chosen to ignore him for years, he will never give up or quit.
He further said he doesn’t understand why the organizers refused to recognaise him despite his hardwork but he will desist from insulting them even though he feels like blasting them.
