Meghan Markle is hitting the airwaves in style.
The Duchess of Sussex, 41, released the first episode of her new solo podcast, “Archetypes,” yesterday — and the simple white tank she’s wearing in the cover art is a bargain buy.
Her top appears to be the J.Crew “Perfect-Fit” tank, which originally retailed for $35 but is currently on sale for just $25.
Featuring a shelf bra and scoop neck, the soft cotton style comes in sizes XXS-3X and is available in six other colors besides Markle’s white version.
The duchess sported the casual staple in the black-and-white image for “Archetypes,” which will run for 12 episodes and is available exclusively on Spotify.
Her outfit choice should come as no surprise to royal fashion followers; Markle has rocked many a J.Crew piece over the years, including a denim shirt dress with a sweater blazer at the US Open, a faux fur-trimmed parka for winter in LA and a stylish navy wrap coat for a visit to Birmingham.
Her podcast fashion didn’t end with the cover art; in a promotional video for
“Archetypes,” Markle wears a chic brown striped tie-neck blouse along with tan belted trousers — most likely Anine Bing’s “Elyse” style — and matching heels.
While its provenance is unconfirmed, the top is nearly identical to a Maeve tie-neck blouse ($120) sold at Anthropologie — save for different buttons at the wrist, as pointed out by fashion blog What Meghan Wore.
Still, it’s as close of a dupe as you can get to the duchess’ look.
Markle welcomed good friend Serena Williams for the first episode of her podcast, titled “The Misconception of Ambition.”
During their wide-ranging chat, the mom of two revealed she never thought having ambition could be seen as negative until she started dating Prince Harry, and that their son Archie’s nursery caught on fire during the duke and duchess’ South African tour in 2019.
