This comes barely days after Pastor Kanyari’s sister, Starlet Wahu was killed in another Airbnb incident by suspect John Matara.
Kenyans received the news in shock following the brutal killing of Starlet Wahu who was buried two days later.
The incident happened on Thursday, January 4, when Wahu’s lifeless body was found on the fourth floor of an Airbnb in Nairobi’s South B. The watchman, upon witnessing the male suspect fleeing with bloodstained clothes, promptly reported the incident.
The premises, rented out to Starlet Wahu and the man for the night, John Matara raised alarm when the owner, using a spare key, unlocked the house that had been secured from the outside. To their horror, they stumbled upon the distressing scene of Wahu’s lifeless body on the floor.
