A Nigerian landlord shares a life-changing story of his marital journey, highlighting how supportive his wife was when he was earning a monthly salary of N35K in Lagos.
He revealed this while responding to a tweet by reality TV star, Rachel Edwards who suggested that a woman should not enter into a relationship with a man earning N800K monthly in Lagos.
The Nigerian man, identified as @imran_services on X, recounted how he married his wife when he earned N35k salary.
He emphasized that his wife remained committed to the marriage even when they couldn’t afford to rent a single-room apartment and had to live with his sister. Additionally, he mentioned that despite the modest salary, they eventually became landlords in Lagos.
“But she married me when earning 35k monthly in Lagos.. She even agreed to stay with my sister because I can’t afford to rent a single room But Aliamudulilahi for Today. Inside our rented apartment before Almighty Allah turned me to landlord here in same lagos that i dey earned 35k/Monthly. Woman wey cool down and struggle with you need to enjoy when the money show face,” he narrated.
The couple’s remarkable journey has captured the attention of internet users, who praised the woman for her patience and supportiveness.
