Netizens have expressed mixed reactions as three sisters from the Ondo State who were born to the same mother have become pilots.
Oluyemi Fasipe shared a picture of the three sisters who have become pilots on Twitter, and it quickly went viral and received praise.
The pilots posed collectively for a photograph that attracted attention while they were dressed in their pilot attire. The three sisters have been identified as Mopelola, Oluwaseun, and Oluwafunmilayo Makinde.
The fact that the women are part of a larger family of seven female children who were all born to the same mother makes them more interesting.
Another amazing fact about them is that their father, Captain Wale Makinde, is also a pilot and works for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, or NCAA.
“Meet – Three Ondo State-born sisters who are all Pilots. The remarkable sisters who are known as Mopelola Makinde, Oluwaseun Makinde, and Oluwafunmilayo Makinde were inspired by their father – Captain Wale Makinde a veteran helicopter pilot who works with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority. Mopelola and Oluwaseun are Helicopter Pilots, while Oluwafunmilayo is a fixed-wing Pilot. The 3 sisters are actively flying and are happily married. Their father, Capt. Wale Makinde is a native of Ondo town, Ondo State.”
