Paris Saint Germain (PSG) has been hit with another setback following the injury Sergio Ramos suffered during training on Thursday, March 16.
L’Equipe reported that Ramos wasn’t able to complete the team’s Thursday training session, although it’s not yet known what the injury is.
He reportedly had to withdraw early from a training match between the first team and the youngsters from the youth academy.
This is another setback for Christophe Galtier, who was without four of his regular defenders in the recent win over Brest, as Achraf Hakimi, Presnel Kimpembe, Marquinhos, and Nordi Mukiele all had physical issues.
Ramos has made 36 appearances this season for the club, registering two goals and one assist.
The 36-year-old Spaniard suffered various physical issues during his first season at PSG, but has avoided physical problems until now in 2022/23.
Ramos will be out of contract at the end of the season. There is, however, no indication that an extension is imminent.
