Elisha Abbo, the Senator of Adamawa North, has threatened legal action against Wange David following her allegations of his involvement in the creation of sex tapes.
In a recent interview, David claimed that she had made 32 sex tapes with Abbo and accused him of leaking one of the videos online, asserting that he is the only one who had access to it.
Abbo has refuted these claims. His attorney, Odiyowvi Osusu, has officially addressed David’s allegations, stating that they have severely harmed Abbo’s personal and professional image and have misled the public.
The letter points out that the video in question was shared on the “Naija Police: U” platform on September 4, 2024, and an interview was aired by TrustTV News on YouTube the next day.
Osusu has requested that David publicly retract her statements and apologize within 72 hours. This retraction should be broadcast on national television and published in three major newspapers, with the specifics needing approval from Abbo’s legal team.
Moreover, the retraction should be disseminated on the same platforms where the original allegations were made.
If David does not comply within the specified timeframe, legal action will be pursued for libel, including a request for an injunction to stop further publications and a court-ordered retraction and public apology.
The letter cautions that if a satisfactory response is not received, legal proceedings will commence against David.
