Jennifer Lopez liked marrying Ben Affleck so much, she did it twice.
The “Gigli” actors staged a lavish ceremony at Affleck’s Georgia home on August 20 for extended friends and family one month after their low-key Las Vegas wedding.
The bride wore a stunning gown featuring short sleeves, a cut-out back and curve-hugging silhouette that cascaded into a long, ruffled train.
And, to add extra drama, she sported a whopping 20-foot veil, which all five of their children — Lopez’s 14-year-old twins Max and Emme as well as Affleck’s Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, — helped carry on a walkway leading into the Riceboro, Ga. “plantation-style” house post-ceremony.
Page Six previously reported that Lopez was expected to wear a custom Ralph Lauren gown ahead of the big day.
If indeed she went with the American designer, J. Lo’s choice of designer is fitting as she wore Ralph Lauren to the 2021 Met Gala shortly after rekindling her relationship with Affleck. The “Hustlers” star, 53, walked the red carpet without her beau, but met up with him at the party, showing loads of PDA.
A-list guests like Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel and officiant Jay Shetty wore all white to match the lavish decorations and over-the-top floral displays. They were also treated to a firework display and live music at the raucous party.
The groom, too, wore a white tuxedo jacket and black pants, re-creating the look her wore to their Las Vegas ceremony last month.
This is not Lopez’s first look as Mrs. Affleck; she has already worn two gowns to legally wed the “Argo” actor, 50: a simple white Alexander McQueen halter dress that the star said she “saved for so many years” as well as a more traditional yet glam all-lace Zuhair Murad gown.
Their three-day “intimate celebration for family and friends” kicked off with a rehearsal dinner on Friday — that was briefly dampened when Affleck’s mother was rushed to the hospital for a cut on her leg — and will with a barbecue picnic on Sunday.
