Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s love is golden.
The newly married “Hustlers” actress surprised fans with a new edition of her “On the JLo” newsletter Thursday, sharing never-before-seen photos from her lavish Georgia nuptials with the “Argo” director in August.
And Lopez, 53, included a photo of her outfit for the couple’s rehearsal dinner: a plunging, glamorous gold halter gown paired with a matching clutch and platform sandals.
She wore her hair in long, loose waves for the occasion, and added a few pieces of gold jewelry for good measure.
While the “Waiting for Tonight” songstress didn’t divulge the designer behind the dress, it’s possible she turned to Ralph Lauren, who also created her trio of gowns for the ceremony and reception.
First, the bride walked down the aisle in a version of Ralph Lauren’s classic turtleneck column dress covered in frills; over 1,000 handkerchiefs and 500 meters of fabric were cut into ruffles and hand-attached to create the sweeping skirt.
For the reception, Lopez changed into a chandelier-style gown draped with thousands of strings of pearls, followed by a sleek mermaid-style number with a Swarovski crystal-embellished keyhole neckline and sheer organza hood.
She accessorized her three custom gowns with more than $2 million worth of jewelry, including Mikimoto pearls and Samer Halimeh diamonds.
Lopez and Affleck previously tied the knot in a low-key Las Vegas ceremony in July, with the bride wearing two more dresses for the Sin City affair — a lacy off-the-shoulder Zuhair Murad look she described as “from an old movie,” and a sleeveless Alexander McQueen gown she said she’d been saving “for so many years.”
The couple met on the set of their movie “Gigli” in 2001 and first got engaged in 2002. They didn’t make it down the aisle in the aughts, but rekindled their romance in April 2021, just one month after J.Lo and Alex Rodriguez called off their engagement.
