The incumbent Governor of Lagos State and the All Progressives Congress candidate for the governorship election, Babajide Sanwo-Olu emerged victorious at the polling unit of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who is the President-elect.
The polling unit recorded a low turnout, with only 50 out of the 324 registered voters who came out to cast their votes.
Sanwo-Olu obtained 43 votes, whereas his strongest rival, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party, secured five votes, and the National Rescue Movement had one vote.
The APC candidate also won at his polling unit with a landslide result against Gbadebor Rhodes-Vivor and other gubernatorial candidates of the state.
