Nigerian striker Umar Sadiq helped Real Sociedad pick 2-1 win against Celta Vigo, securing their spot in Copa del Rey semi-finals.

Despite a late goal from Celta Vigo’s Luca de la Torre in the 92nd minute, Sociedad managed to hold on to their lead, securing their spot in the semi-finals of the tournament.
Recall Sadiq left the Super Eagles camp for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations due to injury. However, he has now featured in two matches for his club, despite expectations of him being on the sideline for weeks.
