Reports indicate that Ekanem, a final-year student at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), defrauded Diana Roskov of $22, which is about N36,000, along with other online scams.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) charged Ekanem with seven counts of fraud and impersonation.
Sabinus expressed his disapproval of the court’s decision in a comment on his verified X account.
