Germany international, Antonio Rudiger, has said that he is proud to join Real Madrid from Chelsea.
Rudiger had earlier left Chelsea to sign for Real Madrid on a four-year deal.
The defender will be unveiled as a Real Madrid player on Monday 20 June at 12 noon.
Reacting, Rudiger, in a tweet via his Twitter account on Thursday, said he is proud to join Real Madrid, adding that he cannot wait to play for the ‘huge’ club.
“I’m proud to announce that I’ll be joining @RealMadrid,”
He tweeted.
“I’m super excited for all the challenges ahead and can’t wait to play my first games for this huge club.”
Rudiger joined Chelsea from AS Roma back in 2017.
He made his Chelsea debut as a substitute in their August Community Shield against Arsenal.
