While speaking with @PageSix, Rev. Al Sharpton briefly talked about his strict diet and revealed that he eats only one meal a day!
The news outlet spotted the reverend at the iconic Harlem eatery Sylvia’s last weekend, where he brought his own kale salad. He explained that he brought his own dish “cuz’ I know they don’t have kale there,” he said. Sharpton then revealed that he started eating one meal a day “about four years ago” and explained why:
“I eat around noon every day, and that’s it. I have the salad and at night, I may have one slice of whole wheat toast because my doctor said I have to have some kind of protein,” he said. Sharpton went on to say that his good workouts and eating kale has helped Sharpton stay fit: “At my height… maybe 15 years ago — I weighed 305 pounds. Today, I’m 132 pounds. I just made up my mind, and I just did it. Cold turkey,” he
