Rapper, Killer Mike arrested shortly after winning three Grammy Awards

Killer Mike, a well-known rapper, was arrested shortly after winning a Grammy Award.

According to Chris Gardner, a senior staff writer at Hollywood Reporter, the rapper was “taken away in handcuffs” during the main category telecast on Crypto.com Arena.

Gardener posted a video of the rapper being hauled away by some law enforcement agents on his X account and wrote:

“Breaking: Rapper Killer Mike has been taken away in handcuffs in Crypto.com arena after winning 3 #Grammys during telecast (Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for “Scientists & Engineers,” Best Rap Album for Michael) “Free Mike” someone shouts as he walks past.”

Prior to his incarceration, Killer Mike was having a great time, earning three Grammys, including Best Rap Song for “Scientists & Engineers,” which he shared with Andre 3000, Future, and Eryn Allen Kane.

The exact reason for his arrest remains unknown.
