Actress Rahama Sadau has denied being part of All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu’s Women Campaign Team.
Recall that the ruling party had on Independence day, released a list of women on its campaign team.
The women’s campaign team will be led by First Lady, Aisha Buhari; Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and Hajiya Nana, wife of the party’s vice presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
About 33 Nollywood and Kannywood actors were listed under the Creative and Entertainment Category of the campaign list.
They include veteran thespian, Joke Silva who chairs the category, Fausat Balogun, Rahama Sadau, Remi Oshodi, Mercy Johnson-Okojie,
Others are Rose Odika, Sola Kosoko, Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero) Hajiya Nas, Lizzy Jay (Omo Ibadan), and Princess Kalihat Bello among others.
Rahama Sadau who reacted to the development, disclosed that she doesn’t know how her name got to the list and further stressed that she is not in any way associated with Tinubu’s women campaign team.
The actress tweeted;
“THIS IS A BIG FAT LIEEEEE…. I AM NOT AWARE OF THIS …I DON’T KNOW HOW MY NAME MADE IT TO THIS LIST, NOT IN ANY WAY ASSOCIATED WITH THIS.”
