Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji aka Oladips, the well-known Nigerian rapper, has reached out to his fans and fellow countrymen, guaranteeing to open up about his experiences when he’s back in the pink of health.
News of the musician’s demise left many Nigerians in disbelief, with videos suggesting the prolonged health challenges he asserted to be grappling with. However, a few days later, there were speculations circulating that the rap sensation staged his own demise as a strategic move to amplify the success of his recently launched album.
He remained silent on the allegations until today, November 23, when he posted a video on his Instagram story accompanied by the caption “proof of life.”
Shortly afterward, he went live on Instagram, reassuring his followers that he would share his side of the story once he regained strength. In the video, Oladips, visibly distressed and unwell, requested his supporters to keep him in their prayers.

Popular musician, Qudus Fakoya Oluwadamilare, better known as Qdot, took to Instagram on Thursday night, November 16, to announce, to everyone’s astonishment, that his friend was still alive and well.
Another close associate of the singer known as Sircoolest took to his Instagram stories to confirm it.
Yul Edochie, in response fingered Nigerians’ sanctimonious love and support for dead people as the reason why rapper Oladips recently faked his death.
The actor urged Nigerians to continue trending his music even after discovering that he is still alive, stressing that he mustn’t die before they could support him.
