Police updates the public on Mohbad’s autopsy test result

  • The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa has spoken on Mohbad’s autopsy and toxicology test result.
  • In a live broadcast on Friday, 6th October, the CP noted that they are still awaiting the result of the autopsy and toxicology test conducted on the late singer’s remains.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, has provided an update regarding the autopsy and toxicology test results of Mohbad’s death.

During a live broadcast on the 6th of October, Commissioner Owohunwa stated that the authorities are currently awaiting the outcomes of these critical examinations, which were conducted on the late singer’s body.

Additionally, the Commissioner spoke on the individuals who are currently in their custody in connection with Mohbad’s death. These persons include the principal suspect; the nurse who injected Mohbad, along with other  Mohbad’s friend, Spending, Primeboy, Sam Larry, and Naira Marley.

In related news, the Lagos State Police State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, said Naira Marley and Sam Larry denied complicity in the death of singer, Mohbad.

Owohunwa revealed this information when providing an update on the singer’s passing, stating that both Marley and Larry were overseas at the time of Mohbad’s death.

The CP, however, affirmed that Larry subjected Mohbad to physical assault before his death.

He said:

“There are evidence that Naira Marley and Sam Larry have nothing to do with Mohbad’s death.

“Documentary evidence shows that both Naira Marley and Sam Larry were not in the country during the singer’s death.

“However, there are electronic evidence that Sam Larry bullied the singer, this he admitted.

“Sam Larry admitted to physically assaulting Mohbad over the two million naira the singer collected for his mother’s burial but failed to perform during the event.”

Also, Owohunwa disclosed that the police had identified a total of 26 witnesses.
