Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has addressed speculations about his future following their 2-0 win over Tottenham, dismissing the rumors as “nonsense.”
Pochettino noted the upcoming season review but affirmed his commitment to seeing out his remaining year on the contract, stressing that the decision on his future rests with the club.
His frustration arose from having to field a team with no senior outfield substitutes due to injuries.
In his post match press conference he said, “Enough with these types of rumors. We need to concentrate on securing a European spot. If I have one more year on my contract here, and no one says nothing, suppose that I am going to be here –only if then we finish the season and someone says to me “ciao”.”
