Peter Obi almost ‘mobbed’ at Labour Party Mega Rally in Edo

A video showing the moment the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, on Monday, joined hundreds of party members for a mega rally ahead of the local government elections in Edo State has emerged.

Also in attendance was former Nigerian Bar Association president, Olumide Akpata, who recently joined the party.

Peter Obi arrived at the Edo Baptist Convention Ground, where the event is being held.

In the videos shared online, a mammoth crowd of LP supporters were seen on the street as they welcomed the former governor of Anambra State.

Another video also shows how security officers shielded Peter Obi as many residents tried to catch a glimpse of him.

In other news, veteran Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has declared his love for President Bola Tinubu as he takes up a new name, “Asiwaju Boy”.

The controversial thespian shared new photos of himself wearing native attire that spotted the photo of the politician.

Praising Bola Ahmed Tinubu he noted that believes wholeheartedly in the president.

The actor added that his nickname is now Asiwaju Boy and he bears it unapologetically.

Yul Edochie also revealed that he will keep praying for the politician.
