It’s a wonder Wednesday guys and we’re thinking about our political sectors and the Shenanigans they bring to our everyday lives.
Politics is the set of activities that are associated with making decisions in groups, or other forms of power relations between individuals, such as the distribution of resources or status.

These are some politicians who or were known for different reasons, either in their Conduct, Actions, Deeds and Words.

  1. El-Rufai

Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai is a Nigerian politician who is the Governor of Kaduna State, in office since 2015. He was previously the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory from 2003 to 2007. Born: 16 February 1960 (age 61 years).

Party: All Progressives Congress

Office: Governor of Kaduna State since 2015 till date.

Spouse: Hadiza El-Rufai, Ummi El-Rufai, Asia El-Rufai.

Children: Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai has 5 children.

Education: Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai went to Ahmadu Bello University, Harvard Kennedy School, University Of London, Harvard University, Georgetown University respectively.

  1. Tinubu

Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu is a Nigerian politician and a national leader of the All Progressives Party. He was Lagos State Governor from 1999 to 2007.

Born: 29 March 1952 in Ogun State(age 69).

Party: All Progressives Party.

Spouse: Oluremi Tinubu. the current senator of the Lagos Central senatorial district.

Children: Kazeem Jide Tinubu (Deceased), Folashade Tinubu Ojo, Habibat Tinubu, Ìyál’ójà, Seyi Tinubu, Zainab Bisola Tinubu, Olayinka Tinubu.

Education: He attended St. John’s Primary School, Aroloya, Lagos and Children’s Home School in Ibadan.

Tinubu then went to the United States in 1975, where he studied first at Richard J. Daley College in Chicago, Illinois, and then at Chicago State University.

He graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.

  1. Dino Melaye

Dino Melaye is a Nigerian politician, a former Senator and was a member of the 8th Nigerian National Assembly,representing Kogi West Senatorial district.

He is from Ayetoro Gbede in the Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi state. Dino Melaye was born in Kohi State, Nigeria.

Education: He attended Abdulaziz Attah Memorial College, Okene for his secondary school education.

He graduated from Ahmadu Bellow University Zaria where he studied geography in 2000.

Melaye was involved in various certificates scandals in 2017 including his claim to have obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Ahmadu Bello University and a degree from the Boston-based Ivy League Harvard university in the United States.

He led the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and later became the Secretary-General of African Youth Council and then that of the Commonwealth Youth Council.

Spouse: Melaye is currently unmarried. He was previously married to Tokunbo Melaye for ten years.

She filed for divorce after a domestic violence dispute where she claimed that he beat her up and pointed a gun to her head.

Tokunbo has three children with Dino. Israel Asiwaju Melaye, Joshua Oluwakimbati Melaye, Destiny Okiki Oluwajomiloju Melaye.

  1. Lai Mohammed

Layiwola “Lai” Mohammed is Nigeria’s current Minister of Information and Culture. A lawyer and former National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress. He was born into the family of Alhaji Mohammed Adekeye in 1952.

He is a native of Oro in Kwara State. He has been accused by some local and international news of giving contradictory accounts of events in his country and false information.

This is evident in his #EndSARS accounts, which were at first, different from those claimed by the Lagos State government and the Nigerian Army.

He had accused CNN of being “desperate”, after the international media released footage, to prove the massacre of the protesters at the Lekki tollgate, Lagos, Nigeria.

Education: Native Authority School, Igbaja, Baboko Ilorin and Government College, Keffi. He also attended Government Secondary School, Okene.
