Pep Guardiola reacts to Erik Ten Hag’s dismissal at Manchester United

Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola has reacted to the decision of Manchester United to sack Erik Ten Hag.

Guardiola was speaking in a pre-match press conference ahead of the Carabao Cup game against Tottenham Hotspur at the White Hart Lane on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. According to him, Ten Hag is an amazing manager and it was unfortunate to see him leave United.

“I am so sorry for Erik ten Hag. I have an incredible relationship and he represents Man United in the highest level in terms of behaviour. This game always depends on results, we can be at risk. He is going to come back stronger”.

He also spoke about Rodri who was crowned the winner of the Men’s 2024 Ballon d’Or award.

The Portuguese international won the award ahead of Real Madrid’s trio of Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jnr and Kylian Mbappe.
