Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo shared deep thoughts on social media about the complicated and puzzling nature of human relationships and society following the tragic passing of Nigerian singer Mohbad.
In his thought-provoking post, Ekubo talked about how in our society, we often admire and celebrate those who are successful, but we tend to ignore or forget those who are going through tough times, especially financial difficulties.
He pointed out the sad reality that people usually show love when you have wealth, success, or in some unfortunate cases, only after you’re gone.
Alex concluded his piece by describing the reality as fascinating.
In his words;
“We cry for the dead, yet keep malice with the living. We envy the successful & avoid the broke ones. People only love you if you are rich, doing well, or dead. What an interesting life we live.”
