Actress Peggy Ovire who tied the knot traditionally with fellow movie star Frederick Leonard has removed her surname and added her husband’s name to her Instagram bio.
Also, captioning a video she posted on Sunday, Peggy Ovire wrote:
“Allow me to Re-introduce myself. Mrs Leonard.”
The couple got married in Warri, Delta State on Saturday, November 19.
The wedding ceremony was attended by their colleagues such as Destiny Etiko, Mary Igwe, Junior Pope, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Ugezu U. Ugezu, among others.
Many other celebrities do the same following their wedding to their partners. Recently, actress Judy Austin took up her hubby, Yul Edochie’s surname, Mercy Aigbe also took up her producer husband’s name, Kazim Adeoti, to name a few.
