Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has fired back at Mamuka Jugeli, the agent of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, following his recent rant.
Jugeli claimed that he would make a move to a Saudi Pro League team next summer, emphasizing that his client Kvaratskhelia would prefer a top European club like Real Madrid or Manchester City.
In response, Osimhen expressed his displeasure in an Instagram post, calling Jugeli “a piece of filth and a disgrace,” and urging him to refrain from mentioning his name.
The confrontation comes after Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia played vital roles in Napoli’s Serie A title in the 2022-23 season.
Osimhen emerged as the league’s top scorer, while Kvaratskhelia was named the best player.
The 25-year-old who is currently on duty with Nigeria’s national team for AFCON, recently extended his contract with Napoli until June 2026, with reports suggesting a release clause of around €130m.
Despite interest from clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea, Osimhen has remained committed to Napoli, rejecting even a move to Saudi Arabia last summer.
