Nigerian musician Oladips has criticized comedian Nasty Blaq for filming a comedy about his false death incident. Oladips warned Blaq not to use his former circumstances for financial gain.
Oladips, a Nigerian musician, has slammed comedian Nasty Blaq for filming a comedy about his false death incident.
Nigerians were plunged into sadness on November 15 when Oladips’ management revealed his death following a two-year personal battle.
However, Qdot, a fellow musician and lifelong friend of Oladips, posted a video of the rapper, stating “he is alive”.
He also stated that Oladips will return to the internet if his record hit the top of the music charts.
The tweet spurred rumors that the rapper staged his death to acquire musical power, but Oladips refuted the claims.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, January 16, he warned Nasty Blaq not to use his former circumstances for financial benefit after the skit creator created an amusing version of the death story.
Oladips said Nasty Blaq did not check on him when word of his false death spread, despite the fact that they were neighbours, but he was fast to film a comedy about him.
He wrote:
