Ntazola Gloria Apologizes For Vulgar Rant And “Kidnapping” Kanjo Officer

“I was angry at my landlord for increasing my rent!” Ntazola Gloria says.

Gloria Ntazola, a popular TikToker, recently made headlines for a viral video where she passionately confronted a city county askari, commonly known as ‘Kanjo.’ In the video, Ntazola used explicit language towards the officer, sparking a wave of online discussion and debate. However, she has now come forward to apologize for her actions.

In a conversation with radio presenter Massawe Japani, Ntazola expressed regret for her use of offensive language, saying, “I am truly sorry for using such vulgar language towards him. That’s not who I am. When I left home, I was angry at my landlord for raising my rent.”

Ntazola’s frustration in the video was, in part, due to the rising costs of living. She emphasized that the economic situation has been challenging, and she was not alone in facing financial struggles.

“Business is not good, and anyone who owns one knows that life has not been easy; we struggle to get money,” she explained.

She also revealed that her family, especially her mother, was displeased with her actions in the video.

She says, “My mum is a pastor, and she was not happy with how I handled the situation. She called me to ask why I acted that way, but I told her that in Nairobi, you have to be tough.”

Ntazola GloriaAfter sharing the incident on her TikTok account, it was banned due to her use of offensive language. However, Ntazola’s apology and a fresh start on the platform yielded a surprising outcome.

“After informing people that I had started a new account, I was amazed by how quickly and massively they followed me. Now, I have more than 50,000 followers,” Ntazola proudly stated.

At 25 years old, Ntazola is not only a social media sensation but also a businesswoman who runs a cosmetic shop.
