Kenneth Okonkwo, the renowned actor and former Labour Party presidential campaign spokesman, launched a blistering critique against President Bola Tinubu, expressing his outrage over the President’s decision to procure a private jet amidst Nigeria’s escalating economic crisis.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Kenneth shared a striking image of President Tinubu juxtaposed with luxurious jets, highlighted what he perceives as a tone-deaf and extravagant move.e
He condemned the President’s choice, pointing out the deep insensitivity in making such a lavish purchase while millions of Nigerians are grappling with severe hunger, relentless fuel shortages, and crushing financial instability.
“People are dying of hunger. No food, no fuel, no finance, no electricity, and President Tinubu is buying a presidential jet. This is the height of insensitivity,” Okonkwo wrote.
