Ruth Akpan of the Floruish duo has said that during her time in the house, the twins, Wanni and Handi, were never questioned, forcing her to stand up to them.
In an interview with Pulse Nigeria, she revealed that the house was full of phony people, emphasizing that the twins were the primary instigators of the confrontations. Ruthee also insisted that most of what she stated during the fight was accurate.
“Yes, 70% of what I said during the arguments was true.”
The twins and Rhuthee were known for causing intense arguments in the house. This was clear from WannixHandi’s strange farewell message. Rhuthee stated that she had expected that and would not put anything past them.
“I was expecting it. I mean what do you expect from classless people?”
She also stated that, contrary to popular belief, she did consider her spouse and how her reactions might effect her stay in the house.
“Yes, I did consider her. That’s what I did from the beginning of the show. I was very considerate. If you tell me something, I react the way I perceive it in the moment. I know my partner is very cool and very calm. Sometimes she’ll say to me, ‘You have to be cool cos people will know you and use it against you.’ But for her I would have done more,” she said.
Speaking of nominations, Rhuthee explained why she nominated the Chekas pair in the previous week, insisting that she is genuine and does not play games.
“I picked Chekas because I was irritated by them. One thing Chizoba did was, that anytime you wanted to have a conversation with her, she looked around for cameras.
She went on to say that she felt uneasy when certain people approached her to hug her, especially because she was aware that they had nominated her.
“So, why are you hugging me? “If I nominate you, I won’t stand up to hug you; I’ll stand on business,” she added.
Regarding her friendship with Mayor Frosh of the Streeze duo. She described him as a “friend” with whom she shares an understanding. Given that Frosh appeared to enjoy other girls in the home, Rhuthee stated that she had no objections and could still be associated with him if he desired.
“If you still want to go for Nelly that’s cool. I told him that if there’s somebody you like in the house, you could steal some kisses. I could still have him while he has Nelly, not a problem for me,” she stated.
She made it clear that if she returned to the house, she would do a few things differently.
“I would go back to the house and be my real self. I compromised a lot because of my partner. If I went to the house alone, I’m sure the internet would have been buzzing every two weeks. I react to bullshit 0.01 second,” she remarked.
She concluded that she is “Ruthing” for the Zinwe and DoubleKay pairs as potential show winners.
