The trio were sponsored for the trip by the Chinese embassy in Kenya to explore new cultures.
While there, they tried the Chinese food, including a frog dish.
In a video shared online, Mulamwah visibly couldn’t believe that he was the one eating a frog.
“Finally tried frog delicacy in Chongqing China. Travelling is all about exploring new ventures, and new cultures and experiencing new foods and recipes. For the first time, I tried this frog delicacy; at first, I was scared but took a bite 😋would you try it?” Mulamwah asked his social media followers.
In a separate video, he admitted that the food there was full of pepper.
It is however evident that he is finally relieved to be back home, where he will enjoy the dishes he is used.
His wife Ruth did not disappoint as he welcomed him back with a variety of dishes.
In the table Ruth prepared, there was also fried rice, some potatoes, ugali, stew and a variety of fruits.
“Niulikuwa nimeenda ughaibuni kwa minajili ya biashara. Atleast sahi naona vitu zenye naelewa ni nini. Huko tulikuwa tunakula amphibians, reptiles, kila kitu kwa periodic table. Sikuwa na option, ilikuwa siku ya nane karibu nakufa na hizo ndio ziko,” he said in a social media video, admitting that there is no ugali in China
An amused Ruth however teased her husband further on the strange Chinese dishes.
“Enjoy kababa lakini hio story yako ya kukula amphibians, ama tuendeleze, nikupikie kesho crocodile?” she posed but Mulamwah declined
