A Nigerian woman has landed herself in hot water after she was discovered selling infants, both male and female, for ₦500,000 and ₦1,000,000, respectively, according to reports.
A video of the woman pleading with bystanders believed to had caught her in the act recently went viral online. She was seen sitting on the floor with a baby in her arms.
Despite her pleading, “Oga, don’t video me,” the men in the footage persisted in filming her while inquiring about her business practices and the prices at which she sells the children.
When questioned about the prices she charges for boys and females, she admitted that she sells males for less than 1 million naira and ladies for more than 500,000 naira.
At the time of writing this story, there is no evidence to suggest that the woman in question has been detained and brought into custody by the Nigerian police.
