A Nigerian mother, Jenny shared the heartfelt apology notes she received from her daughter, Ella, after an incident at school left her feeling deeply remorseful.
According to Jenny, the incident that sparked the emotional exchange occurred when she angrily threatened to stop Ella’s schooling.
Her frustration had stemmed from a recurring issue – Ella consistently returning home with her school lunch untouched.
The concerned mother felt that her daughter’s refusal to eat her lunch was a sign of a bigger problem.
Jenny explained that during a particularly trying moment, she told Ella she would cease her schooling if she continued to disregard her meals.
Her daughter, Ella was understandably devastated by her mother’s words and began to cry.
She tearfully apologized for her actions, but her mother was too upset to listen at that moment.
Despite her initial refusal to relent, Jenny was soon to discover Ella’s determination to mend their relationship and show her genuine remorse.
Ella decided to use the power of the written word to express her feelings and seek forgiveness from her mother.
“I’m sorry that I did not finish my food.”
“Mommy can you forgive me please. I don’t no * What came up on me on me please forgive me you are the Best mom in the whole world. I’ll never forget you. You are the best. I love you so much. From Ella,” the daughter wrote.
