A Nigerian airline leaves her passengers in despair as it ‘mistakenly’ lands in Asaba airport instead of Abuja where passengers booked.
A user known as @dawisu on the microblogging site X criticized United Nigeria Airlines for a thoughtless move that wasted time for its customers.
The passenger claimed that because the pilot had been given the incorrect flight plan, the aircraft had taken off from Lagos State for Abuja but had ended up landing in Asaba.
The Nigerian man shared a photo of the passengers who were obviously furious and made fun of the airline for maybe landing them in a different state just as the flight was taking off again.
“Nigeria my country. We departed Lagos about an hour ago on @flyunitedng to Abuja, and upon arrival, the cabin crew confidently announced that we’ve arrived Abuja, only for us to realize that we landed in Asaba. Apparently, our pilot was given wrong flight plan from Lagos 🤣🙆♂️.
We are departing Asaba now, I pray we don’t land in Osogbo next! 🤣🙆♂️,” he wrote.
