Kenyan music fans say Ngesh disappeared almost immediately as her name got known, even as some questioned why she was the only one enjoying fame and media attention while the other “Spider Clan” members were left in the background.
Via Instagram Ngesh says she’s still around doing her thing. When she gained Internet viral fame, the budding rapper also revealed she was a hawker selling bags as music was not making her any income. A very similar situation with many artists.
Ngesh became popular with her verse where she mentioned Nyandarua county cash crop was selling potatoes. Many farmers from the region grow and sell potatoes.
Her flow was also better compared to the rest among them her brother who introduced her to the rap music clan.
Coming from a humble background, Ngesh has also experienced hardship in her upbringing and school.
She revealed the dream to make it was something that cannot be overlooked as she enjoying attention from all quarters including Mike Sonko and Karen Nyamu.
Samidoh’s sweetheart Karen,invited her at her office and later shared moments together on social media.
Mike Sonko bought them clothes and also gave them an opportunity to perform at his club in Mombasa.
To all naysayers claiming her star has faded, she says, “Kukula life na adabu” meaning she’s all good and keeping most of her life private.
