NeNe Leakes has dropped her discrimination lawsuit against Andy Cohen, Bravo, the network’s parent company NBC Universal, and the production company True Entertainment — for now, at least.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum, 54, filed on Friday to dismiss the case “without prejudice,” meaning she has the ability to reopen it at a later time.
Reps for Leakes declined Page Six’s request for comment on a future strategy.
In the meantime, the parties involved in the case agreed to not “seek recovery of costs or attorneys’ fees,” per the documents.
The case’s conclusion comes two months after Page Six reported in June that Leakes had been in negotiations with Bravo, Cohen, 54, and NBC Universal to possibly settle their case outside of court.
The defendants previously argued that there was a stipulation in one of their existing contract agreements that any disputes between them were “subject to arbitration” in New York. The recently dismissed lawsuit was filed in Georgia.
The motion also noted at the time Leakes “disagreed” with the notion of arbitration, but that both parties were “in the process of negotiating this issue in an attempt to avoid the time and expense of a motion to compel arbitration” through their respective counsel.
Since then, Leakes has continued to insinuate on social media that she stands by her claims.
In July, she slammed “abusers” and those who “want power over their victims” amid the ongoing suit.
“Everybody can see what they did to me! Nobody is stupid!” the former “Fashion Police” co-host tweeted in response to fans at the time.
She also claimed, “This treatment has been going on for yearssss!”
Then, just two weeks ago, Leakes appeared to take aim at Cohen.
“He stopped me from working because I was a threat to his career!” she alleged on Twitter. “Yet he was able to abuse me for years.”
Leakes added, “I want to release these voice recordings so bad.”
The “RHOA” alum first brought on the suit in April over claims she allegedly suffered years of racist remarks from former co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann, who is white. She did not, however, sue her former co-star.
Leakes then also alleged after the filing that she had been “blacklisted” from booking other jobs in the entertainment space as a result of her speaking out.
Attorneys and reps for Cohen, NBC and Bravo declined to comment.
