As training camp and the new NBA season approach, we are hearing more rumors about Kevin Durant and his future with the Brooklyn Nets.
To be more precise, we are hearing more about his lack of a future with the Nets.
Durant definitely still wants to leave the team and has made his desire very clear to the organization.
The latest rumor says that he has a few landing spots in mind too.
Translation: Durant only wants to go to the best teams in the league as long as they don’t have to give up anything for him

One of those teams is the Boston Celtics, who just came close to winning their first NBA Finals in years.
Apparently, Durant would like to play for Boston – but he would also like to play alongside Marcus Smart if he does move to Bean Town.
As NBA writer Cody Mallory put it, “Durant only wants to go to the best teams in the league as long as they don’t have to give up anything for him.”
The chances of Durant ending up in Boston and playing with Smart are slim, to say the least.
A Smart Move
You can’t blame Durant for wanting to join forces with Smart: the Defensive Player of the Year is fun, aggressive, and incredibly talented.
Those are the very reasons why he likely won’t be on the Celtics if Durant is.
Smart would be a huge trade asset and that means that Boston would probably ship him out to Brooklyn as a part of any deal that nabs Durant.
If Durant wants to play in Boston, he will be playing for a team that is missing some of its current players.
That is a reality that he has to come to terms with if he really wants to move to the Celtics.
